Dr. Alexandra Bridget Perkins has been providing high quality, personalized breast care for over 25 years. After attending Brown University for undergraduate, she received her MD from Boston University School of Medicine. She returned to Brown University where she completed her residency in Diagnostic Imaging, followed by a dedicated Breast Imaging fellowship at NYU School of Medicine.
Before joining Suffolk Breast Imaging in 2004, Dr. Perkins served on the faculty of NYU Medical Center and as Medical Director for the Fortunato Breast Health Center at Mather Hospital. Today, she leads her own breast imaging center in Suffolk County, offering compassionate, individualized care to every patient.
As one of the few remaining private, non-hospital affiliated women’s imaging providers on Long Island, Dr. Perkins understands the importance of privacy, fairness, and long-term continuity of care. She is committed to ensuring every patient receives the highest level of quality care with highly advanced imaging AI software, Profound Detection V4, to all 3D mammograms at no additional cost.
